This is what we transmit with the photographer Philippe Walther using his photographs. He invites us on a journey inside not only different stages and events of people’s lives, but also to events taking place in various town and monuments. He captures fleeting moments that rich in simplicity, feelings, mystique in order to highlight the beauty of their souls. Philippe Walther knows how to take care of the unnecessary details and to keep the essence in his photography.

I have used this context in the creation of the logotype.

This logotype represents the shutter during the closure, which symbolizes what his customers could possibly see during a photoshoot. It is also the action that captures a moment never to be repeated, but to be forever remembered. This is a short-lived moment for which will create a lifetime memory: the photograph. The photographer’s tool hides in his eye and his creative spirit. Without the camera, there would be no picture, but without the photographer’s eye, this picture would not be as interesting, as captivating, as personnal or as magical. The camera is the link between the photographer and the costumer.

That is what I wanted to represent with this minimalistic logotype that semblance to simplicity.
